The Riven braided stitched leather loafers combine the ease of a slip-on loafer with a more graphic material design. The supplier sheet describes a full-grain cowhide leather upper, enriched with braided details and panel play, with a stitched construction. This combination gives the model a more pronounced visual presence than a plain loafer while retaining a low silhouette, easy to wear every day.

A leather loafer designed for mid-season

Riven features a round toe, a low heel of less than 3 cm, and a slip-on closure. It can therefore be slipped on without laces or buckles and maintains the flexible line sought after in a casual loafer. The supplier positions the model for spring and autumn and mentions its lightness. We are relaying this information without transforming it into a universal promise of comfort: the feeling on the foot always depends on the morphology and the fit.

A consistent leather composition

The upper is advertised as full-grain cowhide, the lining also in cowhide, and the insole in cowhide. The outsole is rubber. The stitched construction is another distinctive element of the technical sheet. The finishes offered are Black & White, All Black, and All White, which allows for choosing between a more fashionable contrast and two monochrome versions that are easier to match.

How to wear Riven loafers?

The black color works with dress pants, dark chinos, or raw denim. White brings a more summery feel to mid-season, while black and white adds more dimension to a minimalist outfit. The braiding and inserts are enough to create visual interest: there's no need to multiply accessories around it.

Available from 37 to 45, Riven targets searches for braided leather loafers, stitched loafers, and city slip-on shoes. To preserve the leather, clean it with a soft cloth and use a product compatible with smooth leather after testing on an inconspicuous area. Avoid immersion and drying against a direct heat source.
